Advanced SupraLASIK™ is a sophisticated form of laser vision correction that combines the benefits of surface ablation with a gentler, more precise approach. Unlike LASIK, no corneal flap is created, which significantly reduces the risk of dry eye and leaves the eye structurally intact — as strong after surgery as before.
The Schwind Amaris laser used at Imperial Healthcare is recognised by independent experts as among the highest standard in the world for refractive surgery. It incorporates wavefront-guided treatment, torsional eye tracking across three axes, and ablation at two energy levels — features unavailable on any other platform.
The procedure takes under 60 seconds per eye with virtually no contact with the eye itself. Patients typically return to work within 4–5 days. Once healed, the cornea shows almost no evidence of having had surgery — even on a corneal scan.
SupraLASIK™ is not a surgical procedure in the conventional sense. No blade or laser is used to cut the cornea, making it one of the safest vision correction options available.
The Schwind Amaris laser platform delivers highly accurate corneal reshaping with wavefront-guided customisation for superior visual outcomes.
Virtually no contact with the eye during treatment. Patient feels no pain. The only sensation reported is the saline rinse used at the end to keep the cornea clean.
Suitable for many patients not eligible for conventional LASIK due to thinner corneas or higher prescriptions.
Preserving corneal nerves by avoiding a flap incision significantly reduces post-treatment dry eye — one of the main complications of other LASIK types.
We are so confident in SupraLASIK™ that we offer our patients lifetime care and ongoing support following their procedure.
